In het LPCM gaan we de strijd aan met hersentumoren.
Ons multidisciplinair team van onderzoekers wil, in samenwerking met de artsen van UZ Leuven, mee zijn schouders zetten onder nieuwe en efficiëntere therapieën voor patiënten. Elke partner maakt hier een verschil. Dankzij u steun kunnen wij sneller vooruitgang boeken. Dit kan zowel door een schenking, door een inzamelactie / benefietactiviteit te organiseren, als door naar een van onze eigen activiteiten te komen.

Fiscale voordelen

Schenkt u op jaarbasis minstens 40 euro, dan hebt u recht op een fiscaal attest en een belastingvermindering van 45% op het geschonken bedrag. How can I help?

At the LPCM we contribute to the battle against brain tumors.

Our multidisciplinary team translational researchers wants, in close cooperation with the physicians of the University Hospitals Leuven, to support the development of newer and more efficient therapies for patients diagnosed with a brain tumor. Each contribution to this goal contributes to speeding up the research process. You can support our effort via a donation, via organising a fundraising activity or participating to one of our organised fundraising activities.

Fiscal advantages

If you donate at least 40 euros, you are entitled to a tax certificate and a tax reduction of 45% on the donated amount. You will receive the certificate in the month of March of the year following your donation. More information about tax benefits can be found here. 5 november 2023 : Zoniën Athletics Team bindt de loopschoenen aan voor het kankeronderzoek!

Op zondag 5 november organiseert de atletiekclub uit Overijse de derde editie van zijn ZoniënTrail. Dit jaar eren ze Veerle Hermans, die in 2021 de strijd tegen kanker verloor.
Met dit loop- en wandelevent zamelt de club geld in voor het onderzoek naar glioblastoma, de meest agressieve en meest voorkomende hersentumor.

5th of November: Zoniën Athletics Team puts on its running shoes for cancer research!

 On Sunday, November 5, the athletics club from Overijse will organize the third edition of its ZoniënTrail.This year is a tribute to Veerle Hermans, who lost her fight against glioblastoma in 2021.

 With this running and walking event, the club raises money for research into glioblastoma, the most aggressive and most likely brain tumor.

28th of April - Researcher Run against Brain Tumors

The 28th of April the 34th edition of the AG Antwerp 10 Miles & Marathon, the largest running event of the country will be held. More than 40 000 runners will be present. With the LPCM we will run to raise awareness for research combating brain tumors and at the same time support our colleagues fighting the battle against Intestinal cancer.
